About Les Dames d'Escoffier

LDEI is a world-wide organization of executive women of high achievement in the fields of food, fine beverage, and hospitality 41 chapters throughout the United States, Canada, the UK and Mexico.

The international organization was established in 1976.
​Each chapter conducts fundraising projects and awards scholarships on various levels. As the student progresses through her schooling, and after graduation, we continue to mentor her. Often our recipients are young women who are the first in their families to attend college.

The Palm Springs chapter has raised more than $75,000 in local scholarships.
The local chapter also participates in the Green Tables Initiatives which promotes community health
​and well-being through gardening and agricultural efforts. 
 presenting educational gardening events to local school children.

​All proceeds go towards scholarships supporting women pursuing education in hospitality, fine beverage and the culinary arts.
