The Palm Springs chapter has raised more than $87,000 in local scholarships.
The local chapter also participates in the Green Tables Initiatives which promotes community health and well-being through gardening and agricultural efforts. LDEI is a world-wide organization of executive women high achievement in the fields of food, fine beverage, and hospitality 45 chapters throughout the United States, Canada, the UK and Mexico. The international organization was stablished n 1976. Each chapter conducts fundraising projects and awards scholarships on various levels. As the student progresses through her schooling, and after graduation, we continue to mentor her. Often our recipients are young women who are the first in their families to attend college. |
